Work at Home Grandmothers

I want to introduce you to a WAHG who wrote to me today….in fact, I’m going to let Jo introduce herself by sharing her email with you. It’s amazing how far one will go to be near their grand-babies. And Jo shares her work-at-home story as well.

My name is Jo Vermaak and live in the Antelope Valley having immigrated here from South Africa 18 months ago. We moved to the USA to be near our two daughters and three grandchildren. We missed our girls and wanted a more active role in the lives of our grandchildren. Therefore, being near retirement age, we made the decision to uproot and move to a new continent. And what a move, in Africa we lived in a small rural village with narrow tar and dirt roads, to the very busy county of Los Angeles.

Having worked in a very busy Admin Office for all of my adult life, I wanted a complete change and decided to work from home. I have started working on a content based website to help other people looking for work from home opportunities. It has been a lot of trial and error due to me not being techno savvy. I am learning and picking up tips daily. My website is MY BEST HOME LINK. I am glad to find a ‘grandma’ site at last, most of the others are all ‘mom’ sites. Will be back to visit your blog again.
